Donald C. Morrison III (Trey)

Trey Morrison has made his living as a real estate investor, and business owner for the past nine years. He has investment properties in Georgia, Florida and North Carolina. He obtained his North Carolina Real Estate Salesperson License in November of 2003 and his North Carolina Real Estate Broker License in February of 2004. Trey is co-founder of MAP Realty, a full service real estate company located in Boone, North Carolina. Trey is also the CEO of Round Table Investments, a real estate investment company, and owner of Black Cat Burrito, a restaurant located in downtown Boone.

Trey’s real estate experience is extremely diverse. He has been building new homes in the high country for 6 years. These projects have included high-end custom homes, small affordable single-family homes, rental houses and duplexes. Trey has at times worked as the laborer, the contractor, and the owner, giving him a thorough knowledge of all aspects of building in the high country and Boone Real Estate. He has purchased foreclosures and distressed homes and sold them for a profit. He has done extensive renovation work as well. He has done commercial and residential building in the Town of Boone and in the county, giving him an understanding of the various code issues, and permitting procedures required to complete a job in a cost effective and timely manner.

Through all of this work Trey has developed an understanding of how to work with engineers, contractors, inspectors, owners, attorneys, and bankers in a seamless and no-nonsense way. He has also developed a sense of overall market conditions that allow him to make accurate and timely real estate decisions.
